WitsTo keep leaders to account for what they say, we need people to get involved. Whether you are a journalist, an activist, or a ‘regular’ citizen, you can do this in a number of ways.

If you are a journalist and would like to use our reports, you are welcome to download and reproduce them subject to the terms set out on the reports. To know more or to speak to our researcher, contact us by email at info@africacheck.org or on Twitter at @africacheck.

Get involved also by doing your own fact-checking. We provide tips on how to do it and resources to help you. Check out the resources on the site if you have any questions.

The Africa Check team monitors what is said in public debate but we cannot spot everything. Is there a claim that you would like us to check? Has a politician, a business or union leader, a health association or environmental group said something that you suspect is untrue or misleading and that should be challenged?

We cannot investigate every claim sent in to us. But we will log all suggestions and appreciate your help.

We also seek your help in checking claims. If you have evidence that supports or undermines a claim we are investigating, we’d love to hear from you. We will publish on the site and on Twitter the list of topics we are looking into. If you have information or an idea of where we would find information on it, please let us know.

If you suggest good data sources, we will then share them with the readers of the site.

If you like what we are doing, please spread the word on Twitter, Facebook or other social media, with links to our reports or the site. It all helps promote accuracy in debate.
